SteadyMouse is an assistive computer software for Windows, designed to make computing easier for people with essential tremor.
The software detects and removes shaking motion before it reaches the cursor, and by blocking accidental clicks.
There is no cure for a tremor, but there are ways to manage the symptom. Here, people with Parkinson’s share what helps them.
Tremor (shaking) is one of the main symptoms of Parkinson’s. It is an uncontrollable movement that affects a part of the body, for example, the hand.

SteadyMouse is only for Windows computers.
The original version of SteadyMouse is available for free, but it hasn’t been updated since 2006 and won’t work on recent versions of Windows. It comes an “at your own risk” warning from the creator.
