The Vilim Ball is a handheld medical therapeutic sphere designed to temporarily reduce hand tremor by using vibration therapy.
The service uses artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms to analyse tremors and tries to adapt to each person individually.
A handheld device that uses vibrational therapy to help reduce tremor. Reviewers liked that it was portable and easy to use. However some reviewers found it hard to integrate into their daily lives.
The majority of the review panel described the instructions as “fairly clear”. However, they also noted that the instructions were “very difficult” to read because of the very small font size.
Most of the review panel had no issues using the ball. However, 1 reviewer found that on some occasions, holding the vibrating ball seemed to “exacerbate” their tremor.
Half the review panel saw no change to their tremor at all. But 3 reviewers did notice some improvement, with 1 reviewer describing the experience as an “unequivocal success”.
All the reviewers on the panel felt the device was too expensive. Even a reviewer who said their tremor had improved by 50% said they would “hesitate before making a recommendation” because of the price.

The device is easy to charge and use. It did not work for me, I have a tremor in my right hand.
