Caretaker is an iPhone app that helps caregivers check on family and friends by delivering timed reminders and check-ins. These notifications come through as SMS messages and phone calls, allowing care recipients to respond even with limited internet access.

Key features include scheduled check-ins, medication and appointment reminders, video calls, and an emergency widget that displays the caregiver’s contact details on the care recipient’s phone lockscreen.

The app will inform the caregiver if the care recipient forgets to take their medication, and the care recipient can share their location when needed and pause location sharing to maintain privacy.
